Well except for those days when I had the <a href=\"https:\/\/aricandgladys.com\/aricle\/2024\/09\/29\/l-a-schools-peanut-butter-bread-cooking-with-carolyn\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/aricandgladys.com\/aricle\/2024\/09\/29\/l-a-schools-peanut-butter-bread-cooking-with-carolyn\/\">Peanut Butter Bread<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I found this recipe  online and am super excited to give it a try to bring back the nostalgia of my days in LAUSD. Hope you all enjoy it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">OLD FASIONED COFFEE CAKE &#8211; 1954<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2<sup>1\/2<\/sup> &#8211; Cups of Baker&#8217;s (AP) Flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; Cup Brown Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1\/2   &#8211; Cup + 1 Tbsp. of Granulated Sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; tsp. of Salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; tsp. of Nutmeg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3\/4  &#8211; Cup Salad (Vegetable) Oil<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; tsp. of Cinnamon<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; tsp. of Baking Soda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 &#8211; tsp of Baking Powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; Large egg<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1        &#8211; Cup of Buttermilk<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Combine the first six ingredient. Mix until crumbly. Reserve 1\/2 cup of the above for topping. To this add the cinnamon. combine the last four ingredients and add to first mixture. Blend together but do not over-mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Put in a greased 9&#8243; x 13&#8243; cake pan. Sprinkle the cinnamon crumb topping over the top of the batter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bake at 350<sup>o<\/sup> to 375<sup>o<\/sup> for 25 to 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Tamara.
